In other words download a p2p program such as Bearshare,Limewire,Kazaa, amule,Warez ext. i recommend Bearshare.www.bearshare.c om even though it has the zango advertiser, it still gives you more search results and more sources.

A. Unfortunately, MS does not allow download of MSDN collection... So you can't get the help files for VB6. If your VB6 was official, it should have come with MSDN disk. You can claim it where you bought VB6. I use VB5 running in parallel: it HAS the help included... :-)

A. yes you should be able to get Vista through MSDN. However this is a costly proposition. MSDN costs A LOT! Plan to buy it in a store, unless you have access to MSDN through your work or school, if applicable.

A. OK, before anyone tells me that this is encouraging copyright theft , it isn't. Microsoft made the latest MSDN library a free download in 2006. They are therefore unlikely to care about VB6 library which is now unsupported. So do a Google search for: torrent MSDN visual basic 6 or just msdn torrent

A. Then, my advice which is free and damn well worth it, is to try and dowload the current version of Windows (your favorite flavor) DDK. It may not contain much documentation, but it will contain MASM and most of the libraries you'll need to do driver development. Documentation for NT drivers are probably still available either from Microsoft or somewhere on the web. And the Java VM may be on the distribution, but I didn't get it with the download. The actual problem is that NT is no longer supported as a MS product. You could also take a look at the links provided at this site for MASM. One of these downloads might have what you are looking for as tools and then get docs as examples from Microsoft (MSDN) Knowledgebase. I hope this… [cont.]

Q. Someone told me that if one is a MSDN Subscriber one can download Microsoft Visual Foxpro 9.0 Professional Edition free of cost. It is true? If it is then if you know some generous MSDN Subscriber please ask him/her to gift me that software because I cannot afford to buy its legal version which costs a whopping $649. But, since Microsoft allows a free download of that software if someone becomes MSDN Subscriber he/she can download it legally and gift me that software (because then it would be legal copy being gifted to me). A. Unfortunately this won't work. Its true that MSDN subscribers can download Microsoft software, however their subscription pays for the software and the software can only be used for their own development. They certainly can't elect to transfer ownership of parts of the service to third parties. I'm afraid I can't suggest any alternative. There are free Express versions of all of Microsoft's other development tools, but I don't see a FoxPro Express (and other than believing it to be some sort of database product I'm not even sure what FoxPro is).

A. Standard rule with MSDN if it is available with the account level you have purchased then yes it is legal to download and make use of it in your own system. It has been that way since MSDN was conceived many years ago and will not change. That is the whole reason for providing the network.
