Becoming a real estate appraiser in MA?
Q. I am considering taking the classes I need in order to become a real estate appraiser in MA. I have heard that you need so many hours of training before you can get certified. How hard is it to find a company that is willing to train you?

A. You need 254 hours of schooling and a sponsor. Most appraisers (in CA where I am anyway) work independently, your best bet is to have someone you know sponsor you.
